1. they lifted her eyes, they made them bigger, and made her lips fuller, and lifted her whole face.
2. No, its not because its incur-ringing girls to try to look the same way.
3. No there shouldn't be any circumstances with any of that because not only everyone else that sees it but the girl herself too doesn't even look like that in real life and it might even drop her self esteem.
4. That they put make up on her and fixed her hair is fine, but changing her eyes and her neck and lips, the girl just doesn't look like the same person.
5. Fashion photography is photographs of "beautiful" people, really changing their appearance, and photojournalism is photographs of real things.
6. fashion photography is not real, its not ethically right. and in my opinion photojournalism photography is ethically correct.

Lytro Warm-up
1. when ever i clicked on any part of the camera it changed (:
2. it focuses really good on what you want it to and blurs the background.
3. he needs to know the settings and how person being captured want it to look.
4. No, i don't think its worth the money. you can do pretty much the same thing with other cameras.

Rules of Photography part 2
1. Rule of Thirds:
2. Balancing:
3. Leading Lines:
4. Symmetry and Patterns:
5. Viewpoint:
6. Background:
7. Create Depth:
8. Framing:
9. Cropping:
10. Mergers:
Self Portrait and Portraits part 2
1.Have fun with it. Be sexy. Be yourself. Be awesome. Be different. Be creative. Whatever you do, have fun with it. That’s part of the point, after all.
2. If you approach people in the right way, they'll usually be happy to have their picture made.
2. If you approach people in the right way, they'll usually be happy to have their picture made.
Environmental Portrait:
i liked the way the girl was standing, and the colorful balloons at the cemetery.
i liked how the sunset looked, how they took a photo of the photographer doing his job. Just the background was beautiful.
Photography Self Portrait:
I liked the way the girl was holding the paper, and also that it was creative to take the photograph like that.
i really liked this photograph, because its showing his manly side, but yet he has eyelashes and the way he's holding his cigar and the position of his hand..
i picked this photo cause the guy looked cute.
i liked this photo, the little girl looked pretty.
If i were to shoot someone for this project, i would shoot myself if it were possible, either that or Stacey. I would like to shoot outside because of the lighting. I would use props and maybe do a facial expression to make it fun.
American Soldier
- This is an important picture because Ian looks ready to move into a higher rank, and he looks happy and excited for the next thing.
- Its a short series.
- Set 1: Images 1-8
- Set 2: 9-30
- Set 3: 51-71
- Set 4: 72-83
- To me, the most powerful set of images would have to be the 4th set because its when Ian gets back and gets married and realizes that he missed a lot of people.
- They followed him and the pictures told a story of how he went through with all of it.
B. You can actually hear whats going on,and what they think.
C. It captures moments that you can't really see in videos.

Sim Cam
F4: 1/60th of a second shutter speed. The couple looks clear and the background is blurry so they pop out.
F5.6: 1/60th of a second shutter speed. The couple stands out from the background and look clear.
F8: 1/60th of a second shutter speed. They look better, they photo doesn't look dark like the rest. The background is still a little blurry, which makes the couple stand out.
F11: 1/60th of a second shutter speed. The photo looks better than the other shutter speeds, the other ones look dark and blurry. The background isn't as blurry anymore.
F16: 1/30th of a second shutter speed. Even though you can see the background clear, the couple still stands out and they don't look blury.
F22: 1/8th of a second shutter speed. In this shutter speed the couple looks clear and the photo isn't dark. But the background is visible and its clear.
As the shutter speeds get lower, the people in the photo get really blurry. The photographer can fix this problem by maybe putting the couple in a different position or in a different colored background or in another type of lighting. The longest shutter speed would be typically 30 seconds.

ISO
ISO200
ISO3200
1. It'll get a better shot, You'll be able to freeze motion and get the ultra-fast shots.
2. You use a low ISO when theres plenty of light, or when its sitting on a flat surface, like on a tripod.
3. You use a high ISO when there isn't enough light for the camera to be able to capture a fast image. or when your indoors and need to freeze any motion.

Shutter priority: It automatically selects the aperture where the shutter speed and the camera are set.
Aperture Priority: Its the lens where it automatically sets the shutter speed.
Manual: Its when you set the shutter speed and aperture yourself.
Aperture
1. The pupil.
2. The smaller the Aperture f-number the larger aperture opening.
3. The larger the f-number is, it makes the foreground and the background objects in focus. And the smaller the f-number is, makes the foreground focus and the background blurry.

Funny Captions
Bonney the Witch slams into a tree on her way home form a party. She drank a 6-pack on her way back home, celebrating Halloween night. This is what you shouldn't do.
Jason sits on a bench for a few minutes. He fought the fire all day. Ugh.. hard work, take a rest.
Poor Jeremy screams in pain, he got the flu shot, and just got owned by the school nurse. His friends laughed in the back because jeremy bragged he wasn't scared of needles.

Academic Shoot Reflection
1. It was awkward in the classes when we walked in there. Some people didn't want us to take pictures of them, so it was hard.
2. I would think too much about how many times i would click the shoot button. It was loud and 2 classes we walked in were really quiet and they were just looking at us.
3. If i were to do this again what i would do differently is go to classes that are actually doing work. And also keep in mind that i had to take pictures of the 6 rules of photography.
4. The things i would keep the same would be taking lots of pictures all at once so i don't have to miss anything.
5. The easiest rule to achieve would be simplicity because you just have to take a picture of one object.
6. The hardest rule to follow if i were able to do this again would be... balance.
7. Im not really confused about any rule, i get all of them and know what they mean and how to work with them.

Class Mural
1. It we would take pictures of stuff about us.. i think it should be brands.
2. Yes it should be optional, some people don't have phones, and might need them to take they're pictures.
3. I would put the mural in the cafeteria, everybody sees it there.

Africa
1. I thought these photographs were beautiful. The photographer did an amazing job capturing those moments.
3. This photo shows a lot of giraffes standing and some laying down. Its really pretty how the light goes through the clouds and hits the grown with the sun rays. This was my favorite photo because it just really liked how the sun rays hit the floor so beautiful.
4. Lines, Balance, and Simplicity.
a. He used a Pentax 6711 with only two fixed lenses.
b. He fell in love with the animals from this movie he was directing in 1995, so decided there was a way to achieve his thoughts about photography.
c. He was interested in showing the animals simply in the state of being.
d. "You wouldn't take a portrait of a human being from a hundred feet away and expect to capture their spirit; you'd move in close".

Academic Shoot
Simplicity
- In my opinion, i followed the rule pretty good for this photo.
- This picture is simplicity because its showing just the object. There is nothing else in the photograph but the soccer ball.
- Yes it is very specific to people what this picture is.
Merger
- i did an okay job taking this picture.
- The subject in this photo is the girl standing. What made it into a merger was the paper she held up to her face and the top of her head and the rest of her legs were cut off.
- I think if i were to look at this photo it would be clear to me of what it was.
- i think i would of been a much better photo if the girl in the picture knew what was going on.
Lines
- I think i did a good job following this rule.
- This is an example of Lines because when you look at this photo your eyes follow the lines to the end. Also the sidewalk is going straight and making straight lines.
- Yes, its clear to people what the subject is.
Framing
- I did a really good job following this rule.
- This is and example of framing, because the tree, and the building are framing the people in the picture.
- I don't know if it would be clear to people what this picture is about if they were to look at it. It just looks like two girls sitting down, not that hard to understand.
Balance
- In this picture i did and okay job.
- This is a balance subject. If you were to fold the picture in half, it would balance out because the guy in the back is smaller than the guy in the front.
- This picture is just two people looking the same way, I'm pretty sure if someone were to look at it they would get it.
Rule of Thirds
- i think i did an amazing job taking this picture.
- This photo is an example of The Rule of Thirds. This guy is standing where the thirds should be.
- I think it is clear to people what this picture is.

Jostens Yearbook Contest
The Story
Its showing that kids took they're time time to feed homeless people. To me says that kids had the time to get together and put some food for people that don't have it like we do.
Action and Emotion
The guy is picking on his teacher, it shows that kids get along well with they're teachers, and enjoy time with them as well as the teachers.
Filling the Frame
The frame is filled with the two girls doing an experiment, the photographer did a good job taking the picture at a precice time.
The photo i picked is called.. "Up all night (What students do to get ahead)". Its a photo with three pictures next to each other. The first one has hands holding a Starbucks coffee cup. The second one is four fingers trying to keep some guys eyes open. And the last picture, shows someone holding a handful of pills.
1. The reason i picked this photo was because i can relate to it. I also work and sometimes wish i could have that.
2. Simplicity would be an example of this photograph.
1. i think i would take pictures in the gym.
2. I would like to go take pictures in Mr. Waters class.
3. i would take a good look of whats going around me, and capture those good moments.

Photo Manipulation and Ethics
A. On the first of april someone had messed with the picture. They took of one of the female cabinets and made all of them male. The photographer got mad.
B. This type of photo is unethical, because they are taking your work and messing it up. In my opinion its not fair at all cause you did all the work and not getting credit for it.
A. The first photo with the soldier is the most unethical picture to me because its so fake, you can tell that they clearly put two pictures together to make one.
B. The least unethical to me.. would be the one with the girls teeth. Because, you can't really tell they're fixed and it kind of doing the girl a favor.
Unusual and Interesting Photos Part 3
1. Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci, Hand with reflecting sphere by M.C. Escher, The Gossips by Norman Rockwell.

1. I picked this photo because, i found it sad.
2. Environment (nature, wildlife) Picture story.
3. It won 1st place.
4. It got up close to the cows bones and structures.
5. This photo probably, really impacted the judges.
